Caring for your Eyewear

  • Wash your eyeglasses with dishwashing soap, such as Dawn.

Put a drop on each lens, then rub with your fingers under warm water.
Rinse and dry with a soft tissue, free of lotions.

  • Touch up clean eyeglasses with a soft microfiber cloth.

Great for fingerprints and smudges, microfiber cloths should be occasionally washed (no fabric softener.)

  • Use two hands to put on and remove your eyeglasses.

This evens out the pressure on the hinges, keeping your eyeglasses properly fit to your face.

Please Don’t

  • Use household cleaners like Windex on your glasses.

Your lenses are plastic and can be damaged by these products.

  • Wiping your lenses with other fabrics, like your shirt.

This can cause tiny scratches on your lenses, that add up over time.

  • Leaving glasses in the car or near heat sources like fireplaces.

Extreme temperatures can damage your lenses and frame.
